Advanced Physiotherapist/NIHR Clinical Fellow, Royal Brompton Hospital:  Rehab and Therapies Department - Adult Lung

Clinical Role

Supports the clinical delivery of the Adult Lung Services for Physiotherapy. This includes Asthma, Bronchiectasis, ILD and Sleep and Ventilation services.

Clinical delivery includes:

• Breathing Pattern Assessments and breathlessness management
• Airway Clearance Techniques (including Assessment of Cough)
• Exercise Assessment and delivery
• Physiotherapy Assessment of Systematic Assessment of Asthma

Research Role

Currently completing a Pre-Clinical Academic Fellowship (PCAF) award with the NIHR. This aims to develop skills in research and supports the development of a competitive Clinical Doctoral Research Fellowship (CDRF) application. This will be in the Physiotherapy Assessment and/or Treatment of Breathing Pattern Dysfunction.
