Our clinical service was recently featured in an article about artificial stone silicosis in GiST, the publicly available community and staff magazine for Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital (of which Royal Brompton Hospital is a part).
The article features quotes from a patient and Dr Johanna Feary, highlighting the main featurs of this this rapidly developing occupational lung disease, and its direct impact on patients and their families. It also highlights that the UK Silicosis Registry will launch later this year, with support from Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity.
