Paul Cullinan, Jo Szram and Carl Reynolds attended the UK GORDS meeting in June.  The national group of occupational respiratory disease specialists (GORDS) meets three times a year, to discuss current issues in occupational and environmental lung disease from a clinical, research and education perspective.

A number of case-based presentations covered diverse topics including asthma relating to acrylates, histoplasmosis in police officers clearing an illegal cannabis farm, and respiratory illness due to biomass imports at a port near to domestic and commercial settings.  The day ended with a visit to a local industry – a coffin makers.
