Paul Cullinan, Jo Feary, Dave Green (ERG), Emma Marczylo (UKHSA), and Justie Mak met with Transport for London’s Occupational Hygienist for a tour of Oxford Circus underground station and the Hainault depot. This visit provided the opportunity to talk to TfL staff about the different customer service and fleet staff job roles within TfL.

 

As part of her PhD, Justie is undertaking an epidemiological study to investigate associations between tube dust and sickness absence in TfL underground workers. This involves modelling PM2.5 exposures of the different job roles across the underground network
