Jennifer Canizales participates in Imperial-Tokyo Tech Global Fellows programme in Japan - March 2018

Jennifer Canizales was one of 20 Imperial College students to attend the Imperial-Tokyo Tech Global Fellows programme in Japan, along with 20 students from Tokyo Tech university.

The students participated in a 5-day course with the theme of "Innovation to Eradicate Poverty”.  Talks were given on poverty around the world and sustainable development initiatives. One of the course aims was for the students to collaborate and use their multidisciplinary skills to develop strategies to eradicate poverty.

Jen was delighted to have been able to work with other researchers from a variety of different disciplines and backgrounds.
