EPICOH (International Symposium on Epidemiology in Occupational Health) has recently established a dedicated network to promote networking, research and career development of early career researchers in the field of occupational health and epidemiology or other related disciplines.

Together with Susan Peters, PhD (Utrecht University), Jate Ratanachina, has been appointed as an Officer responsible for EPICOH's Early Career Network mentoring/training programme.  Elections for formal positions for this group were held during the EPICOH 2017 conference, held in Edinburgh in September (see our news item regarding this conference).

The group is targeted towards all students and researchers with fewer than 5 years of experience (from their terminal degree). Although these activities are designated for early career researchers, in practice they are open to all delegates who feel they would benefit from attending.
