Sara De Matteis attended the 9th UK and Ireland Conference on Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology (9OEEM), held in Oxford, UK.  This is an international scientific meeting, held each year since 2005, which aims to examine various important topics in occupational and environmental medicine in a fairly informal environment, and encourage discussion and collaborative networking.

In 2014 Sara co-organized and co-chaired 8OEEM, held by our Department at NHLI, Imperial College, London. This year, Sara co-chaired a poster session, and also presented a poster and a talk on work-related COPD risk in the UK Biobank cohort study. In particular, she showed a live demonstration of the new web-based questionnaire developed to collect lifetime occupational histories of all the Biobank participants.
