  • Development of a Patient Reported Outcome measure in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF-PRoM study) UKCRN ID 15468 – multicentre study UK (NIHR: CDRF) Open to recruitment
  • Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Personal organiser evaluation study (UK) British Lung Foundation sponsored study. Open to recruitment in Newcastle and Aberdeen

Clinical Service Development / Evaluation:

Working within the Interstitial Lung Disease Unit at Royal Brompton Hospital -

  • Project Manager: Clinical nursing intervention project to improve the quality of patient care. Joint working initiative with Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust and Hoffman La Roche
  • Project Lead: Singing for Lung Health: to evaluate the impact of singing; breath management and vibration on patients diagnosed with IPF at RBHT. Supported by a BLF grant
  • Supervisor: Audit of the implementation of IPF NICE Quality Standards at Royal Brompton Hospital. Led by Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Project Steering Group member for the clinical intervention project: feasbility testing of a  psychological support workshop for patients newly diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) and their families
