Colleagues attend Environmental & Occupational Epidemiology and Exposure Science Meetings, LSHTM

23 April, 2018

A number of colleagues attended the ‘11th UK & Ireland Environmental & Occupational Epidemiology Conference’ and '6th UK & Ireland Exposure Science Meeting', held at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine on 23 and 24 April respectively.

Their participation is listed below (each refers to the Environmental & Occupational Epidemiology Conference):

  • Sara De Matteis (pictured here) was on the Organising and Scientific Committees, and also chaired the afternoon session.
  • Two colleagues were among those invited to present 'Short talks' -

~ Mary Brian: 'Identification of novel occupational allergens using a mass-spectrometry method' (pictured here being introduced by Prof Lesley Rushton of Imperial College London)

~ Johanna Feary: 'Sensitisation to mouse allergens in contemporary laboratory animal practice' (pictured right, presenting)

Other colleagues who attended one or both days are Paul Cullinan, Jate Ratanachina and Joanna Szram.

Both events had an exciting schedule comprising a wide range of Keynote Plenary sessions, short presentations, and posters.
