Colleagues to attend BTS Winter Meeting, London, 5-7 December

A number of colleagues will attend the BTS Winter Meeting, to be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, London, 5-7 December 2018; the preliminary programme can be seen here.

Colleagues' involvement will include the following (further details to be added in due course):

  • Paul Cullinan will present 'Metal workers' hypersensitivity pneumonitis: a causative role for non-tuberculous mycobacteria?' in a symposium entitled 'Occupational lung disease update: new causes of 'old' conditions' on 5 December.  The symposium will be chaired by Dr Chris Barber (Sheffield) and Jo Feary
  • Sara De Matteis will present two posters, entitled '"Crystalline" clear cases of sarcoidosis?' and 'Cleaning products and respiratory health outcomes in professional cleaners: a systematic review and meta-analysis’ - both on 6 December
  • Jo Feary will chair a poster discussion entitled 'Danger at work: occupational lung disease' on 6 December, and will also present a poster in that session
  • Anne Marie Russell will present her work on 'The Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Patients Reported Outcome Measure (IPF-PROM)', reporting on its reliability and validity for use in populations with IPF, in a spoken presentation on 6 December in the 'Novel imaging and outcome measures in ILD' session
